Dr. Thomas Forrest

Dr. Thomas R. Forrest, DC, has been serving the healthcare community for over 30 years, bringing a wealth of experience towards improving his patients’ lives. He has worked in the hospital setting as well as owning his own practice for 15 years. More recently, he has worked the last 3 years in Functional Medicine.
He grew up in San Antonio, Texas and attended Baylor University for his undergraduate studies. Graduate school took him to Terre Haute, Indiana where he attended Indiana State University. His studies were focused on Sports Medicine, where upon graduation he had the opportunity to work with several NBA teams which included Charlotte, San Antonio, Atlanta, and a team from Milan Italy.
After working a number of years in a Sports Medicine setting for a NC hospital, Dr. Forrest wanted to do more to help his patients. With this goal in mind, he entered Life University in Atlanta and upon graduation obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Forrest knows the problem isn’t the symptom but rather, it is the underlying cause of that symptom. With this understanding, Dr. Forrest is able to focus on the actual cause of disease, which benefits his patients and leads to healthier outcomes.
Outside of the office, tennis has been a lifelong passion for Dr. Forrest. He played through high school and was on the college tennis team at Baylor University. He loves to read and has enjoyed serving as president of his local Kiwanis Club.
